Once again, props to Steen and Marlena for being so fantastic to work with! This was a really fast shoot, as we were racing to finish before dark. I'm really happy with the results.
On a geek note: this stuff looks amazing in full HD Blu-ray, which we will be showing at their reception.

Steen & Marlena at Lagoon...
Ahhh Lagoon. This shoot was a lot of fun and a crack up too. A big thunderstorm rolled through and threatened to rain A LOT, but fortunately we only had to endure one short downpour halfway through the shoot.
Steen and Marlena were fantastic to work with...and Marlena's mom was an incredible help. (I hate the Tidal Wave ride so she grabbed the camcorder and shot some footage of the couple on the ride) You rock, Laura!
I still laugh at how much Steen hated to get wet at Rattlesnake Rapids. There's genuine dread in his eyes in some of the footage. LOL

Opera at Sleepy Ridge...
This is the raw, roughly 1-1/2 minute clip of an aria performance I caught while filming material for a promo video I produced for Sleepy Ridge Weddings. Unbeknownst to me, the performer happened to be the father of the bride, and an opera singer from France, no less!
I was literally running up the stairs with a heavy Steadicam rig to the 3rd floor (I had just finished shooting exteriors) when I heard this powerful voice belting out an incredible aria. I only wish I could've caught all of it, but as these things happen at weddings, there wasn't any warning, and sadly, there was no professional videographer on hand to capture the moment...but I'm glad I was able to catch what I did.
